DIRECT TO FARMER GRANTS

2024 Grant Recipients

We’re proud to offer our 2024 Direct to Farm LFPA grant recipients contracts to produce foods that will be aggregated and distributed to hunger relief organizations; making local foods more accessible across the state.

GETTING STARTED

To participate in the WI LFPA Program, we require grant recipients to complete the following before meeting with their WI LFPA Specialist or by January 5th (whichever comes first):

  • ONBOARDING SURVEY

Congratulations on being chosen for a 2024 WI LFPA grant award. Before finalizing your contract, we need you to complete the onboarding survey.

COMMUNITY LIAISONS

Three Community Liaisons act as a bridge between WI LFPA project partners, grantees, and food access sites to support the program's goals of reaching underserved communities.

The Liaisons will support WI LFPA participants in their region through:
● Networking and education events
● Providing feedback to WI LFPA project partners
● Facilitating connections with existing WI LFPA networks of engaged farmers,
organizations, and community members
● Wisconsin Farmers Union membership
● WI Local Food Directory

Want to learn more about the topics above? Please reach out to the Community Liaison that serves your region.
